The Lakota Agriplex in Dawson Creek B.C., established in October 2007, is a 100 x 240 foot equestrian facility that hosts a variety of shows and competitions, as well as offers boarding for 110 horses in the indoor stalls. There are a small amount of bleachers on one side and a run-in for barrels and ropings. They also have a number of turn-out facilities or outdoor stalls on the north-east side of the building. They seemed to be far from capacity on my visit in January, a time when they should be, but that may have something to do with the current downturn in the economy.
The Lakota Agriplex looks like a decently cared for complex. It has a shower/ wash bay room for the horses and these and the stalls are directly connected and close to the arena in the same building. There are also 76 wooden large tack lockers available to rent.
